We have new VLS Pink shirts in for the ladies ... or guys. :) I covered the opening ceremony for the 2008 Beijing summer Olympics at Cal Expo in Sacramento where I was honored to meet the Consul Members of Russia Federation, China, Tonga, the Lieutenant Governor of California, an International Winebroker, and had a nice time filming some Olympic Theme Songs too. This week I will be at the Vans Warped Tour for the final week! :( Warped Tour has been great this year with more rising acts like Katy Perry and Shwayze and a ton more! I will be chatting with more of the Warped Tour acts about their favorite memories of the tour and their plans for the rest of the year! Keep watching! July 29th 2008 - Back in Sac! Yo Vinnie Langdon here! Now we don't have a series going for you friends in Sacramento but we air at Variety times and when we do know when we're airing we'd love for you to record our show, check it out, comment our episodes and such! So I just would love for my friends, viewers of other episodes in the past that aired in Sacramento in the past to tune in THIS SATURDAY at 9:30pm on Channel 18 in Sacramento County to watch my show! I'd appreciate it. Also there will be more episodes in September as well, which I'm excited for. Plus I have to thank Danger Radio for talking to us on The Vinnie Langdon Show this past Sunday at the Boardwalk. It was a very fun show with Cute is What We Aim For, Ace Enders and Powerspace! Just wanted to make a quick update. Will see ya soon! July 26th 2008 - Danger Zone! Tomorrow I will be interviewing Danger Radio, Ace Enders, hopefully catching up with friends of Cute is What We Aim For tomorrow at the Boardwalk in Orangevale to shoot another great episode for everyone. July 18th 2008 - Shwayze on VLS and then gets their own MTV Reality Show This is very exciting, first appeared on The Vinnie Langdon Show last month, a couple weeks later on Steven's Untitled Rock Show, and now you want to know where the Malibu rap-singers Shwazye is headed off to? You guessed it right my friends MTV! Be on the look out for my new friends Shwayze and Cisco on their own new Reality based television show called "BUZZIN" premiering world wide on MTV at 10:30pm Eastern Time on MTV! I'm excited about this for Shayze I'll be hoping to get to chat with them again in August when The VLS hits the Vans Warped Tour '08 in California soon! July 17th 2008 - Guest at City of Vacaville's On-Camera Acting Camp This was a very fun day as well. I was asked by David Rodgers Jr. of the Horizon Arts Group to be a Special Guest during his On-Camera Acting Camp at the Vacaville Cultural Center. I was able to come in and give some advice to the students in his group as well as for one student, Armani - was able to even interview me! It was quite interesting for me to be once again on the other side being asked many questions! It was a few hours meeting kids who were also passionate about being an on- camera performer like myself! Thanks to David Rodgers for giving me the opportunity to be a guest! July 16th 2008 - VLS begins to go International! Today was really a great day for myself being able to work with some International Students from China. Thanks to the U.S.C.C. (United States China Council), Jim & Lauren Eubanks, I was able to meet some students from China today! They were all inspired students wanting to learn more about film and television. I asked Jim as I knew about his international student program if he had any students who would like to be interviewed as well as make a short movie with them. Thankfully, and grateful I was to be able to spend an entire afternoon with the students and generate a successful segment for the VLS! Thanks to the power of the internet, Myspace, and YouTube since I had many e-mails / fan-mail of lots of people in Philippines, China, Japan, England, Australia, and even New Zealand I decided to make some MySpace Fan Pages for those certain countries. You could find those pages on my Myspace page linked. It's so nice to have people who enjoy my show on YouTube! June 21st 2008 - Vans Warped Experience Yo it's Vinnie Langdon just hopped off the tour bus hanging with the boys of The Lordz, "Brooklyn Way" I had a nice time at Warped besides gaining a Sunburn! I had a great time spending the day in San Fran taping three episodes with Warped Tour Founder Kevin Lyman. We got to speak to our new friends The Lordz, which I really looked forward to doing so for awhile. Gym Class Heroes made their first appearance on my show. My interview with The Color Fred (Fred from Taking Back Sunday) was very entertaining, you all will love seeing that interview. We met some international groups like Supe from Toykio, JP. From The Academy Is... to We The Kings all the way through with Ryland from Cobra Starship... I had an amazing time. Camera Guy Matt got a huge sunburn! Poor Matt! I didn't see much artists perform as I liked to have but it was a busy time backstage and great! Thanks to Kevin Lyman, The Lordz, Bethany (backstage with Press) and all the artists, tour managers that were cool enough to be on The Vinnie Langdon Show! You all rock and it means a lot to have you apart of the show! Will see ya guys next time... |
